Have you heard? In May of 2023, Nashville became the 31st  Urban Bird Treaty City! It’s a collaborative program with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which works with member cities to create and preserve bird-friendly environments, as well as develop opportunities to connect with nature through bird-related activities. And what’s more bird-related than going birding?

If you love the birds in your backyard, but wonder where to go in Nashville to actually see and hear the 300+ wonderful species that either live in, or pass through, Music City – we’ve got you covered. Follow along for an overview of some of the top birding hotspots around Davidson County. We’ll keep adding to the map, so check back often.
