Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity! 💚 🤝

Our PEN Pals summer camp program kicks off in a few weeks and we need volunteers to help with youth outdoor activities and lunchtime prep.

PEN Pals is a unique Warner Parks program that helps youth develop a level of comfort being in the outdoors, promotes a connection to and appreciation of nature and wildlife, and fosters a feeling of responsibility in caring for and protecting the environment.

Know-Before-You-Go:
📍 Pickin' Parties are at the Percy Warner Equestrian Center (2500 Old Hickory Blvd). Accessible parking available.
🌕 Gates open at 5:30 PM
🧺 Bring your own blanket, lawn chair, and snacks (food trucks on-site)
🍺 Each ticket includes water, sodas, and beer (limit 3, 21+). NO glass containers or outside alcohol permitted.
🐕 Dogs are welcome (on a 6 ft leash)

**Online ticketing closes at 12 PM on the day of the event. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate starting at 5:30 PM, while supplies last.

Nashville is officially an Urban Bird Treaty City designated by @usfws and @johncooper4nashville!

As the very first city in Tennessee to receive this designation, and the 31st in the nation, #Nashville is committed to:
- conserving urban habitat for birds
- reducing hazards to birds
-educating and engaging urban communities to care and conserve birds and their habitats.

To thrive, Nashville must coexist with nature and make it a part of our city.
