Enjoy Horseback Riding Trails

Two trails covering over 8 miles of shaded riding wind through Percy Warner Park (with two picnic tables accessible by horseback), all of which are accessible via the trailhead and trailer parking area at Warner Parks Equestrian Center.

In 2024, the Old Beech Trail was updated to include pedestrian access alongside horse access. Please remember to follow the dual-use trail rules.

Harpeth Hills Golf Course

18 Holes | Par 72

Blanketing the rolling hills of Percy Warner Park, Harpeth Hills is widely respected as one of Tennessee’s top public golf facilities. Originally designed in 1965, the course was rebuilt in 1991 to enhance its playability and showcase the natural landscape surrounding the Par 72 Championship layout, which offers a challenge to golfers of all levels.

New greens feature Tif Eagle ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass for an outstanding putting surface. And, boasting one of the most picturesque views in Nashville, Harpeth Hills’ clubhouse is an enjoyable place to relax after a round of golf.

Percy Warner Golf Course

9 Holes | Par 32

Set near the Belle Meade entrance to Percy Warner Park, Percy Warner Golf Course is known as one of Nashville’s most picturesque and golfer-friendly courses and has been a favorite place for Nashvillian’s to learn to play since 1937. This scenic nine-hole layout, while a playable par 34 at 2600 yards, is still made challenging by it’s tree-lined fairways and small undulating greens.

Mountain Biking Trails for All Skill Levels

Built with funding from Metro Parks and managed and maintained by Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), Warner Parks have 8 miles of dedicated mountain biking trails accessible at both the Percy Warner Golf Course and Deep Well trailheads.

There are trails for all skill levels, ranging from beginner to advanced so check the trailhead signs before you ride.

Cross Country Courses

The Vaughn’s Creek and Steeplechase Cross Country Courses within Percy Warner Park are both home to major local, state, and regional competitions at the high school and collegiate level. Except during permitted organized meets, cross country courses are available for open running.

Soccer and Flag Football Fields

Edwin Warner Park is home to four youth soccer fields used by area clubs, including a youth flag football league. Learn more about field reservations.

Baseball and Softball Fields

Edwin Warner Park is home to 5 youth baseball fields, with two fields suitable for adult softball. Among these fields is the famous Bob Heriges Memorial Baseball Field located at 2547 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN 37221.

Model Airplane Field

Used by model aviation enthusiasts since the early 1930s, the model airplane field in Edwin Warner Park was the first in Nashville, and it’s one of the oldest in the United States. It’s located at 28 Vaughn Road, Nashville, TN 37221.

The Edwin Warner Model Aviators Club, chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics, utilizes the facility and serves as a helpful network for model airplane operators and anyone interested in taking up this exciting hobby.

Requirements
A permit through Metro Parks is required to operate a model airplane in Edwin Warner Park.
