Join us for bird banding at our long-term Warner Park Nature Center banding station, on-going since 1982. Beech Grove is located within the interior section of Percy Warner Park. With an ephemeral creek, forest edges, and an adjacent field, it is an ideal birding location. Join Graham as we search for both resident and migratory birds like warblers dressed in their fall plumage. Registration required.

We’ll begin with a short informative discussion about some of the birds we may encounter. Although birds are not as “vocal” at this time of year, we will listen for calls and chips to spot them.
