Join acclaimed and New York Times best-selling author Margaret Renkl and her brother, fine artist Billy Renkl, as they share their debut picture book, The Weedy Garden: A Happy Habitat for Wild Friends, which describes the vibrant ecosystem of a wildlife friendly backyard garden. This family-friendly event will include storytime, an outdoor search for “Weedy Garden” friends (squirrels, rabbits, and others), and all participants will be able to pot a native seedling to plant at home. Books will be available during the program for purchase and signing. Space is limited and registration is required for this program.
