This spring, the Warner Parks community will come together for a special evening of celebration, resilience, and support at The Shelter Dinner, one of Friends of Warner Parks’ most beloved traditions.

In the aftermath of Winter Storm Fern, Warner Parks experienced the most significant storm damage in its 100-year history, with several thousand trees lost across Warner Parks. While the damage is heartbreaking, the strength of this community — and the enduring beauty of the Parks — remains.

Thankfully, most of the Park’s cherished historic picnic shelters weathered the storm. While two shelters sustained damage, we are grateful that many remain standing and ready to welcome guests for this year’s event.

On Saturday, April 11, guests will gather in Percy and Edwin Warner Parks to enjoy a magical outdoor dining experience while supporting the ongoing recovery and stewardship of these treasured green spaces.

Reserve and decorate your own historic picnic shelter for an intimate evening with friends, family, or colleagues. Friends of Warner Parks provides hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and libations, while hosts bring their creativity and festive spirit to transform each shelter into a unique dining space.

Proceeds from the evening directly support Friends of Warner Parks’ mission to preserve and steward Percy and Edwin Warner Parks, with funds helping the Parks recover and rebuild in the wake of the recent storm.

Shelter Reservations

• Standard Shelter – $3,000 (includes up to 12 guests)

• Select Large Shelters – $5,000 (up to 20 guests)

Shelters are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
