Last week, we celebrated Clare’s Meadow Day—a Last week, we celebrated Clare’s Meadow Day—a milestone in our native meadow restoration project across Warner Parks 🌾💛 The very first site, Clare’s Meadow, is now ready to be seeded thanks to our partners at @roundstonenativeseed . They developed the custom “Clare’s Meadow Seed Mix” filled with native wildflowers and grasses—designed to support pollinators, insects, birds, and other wildlife who urgently need restored habitat. Species like the Eastern Meadowlark, once common here, now face steep population declines. This is a step toward bringing them back. Clare Armistead always said, “Take care of what you love.” This project, led by her family and supported by so many, is a beautiful tribute to her life and her deep love for Warner Parks. Together, we unveiled the new site sign and watched the first seeds go into the ground. 🌱 We can’t wait to see it bloom next spring. 📸: @tlcoutside @elizabeth_gracecook
