RESTROOMS

Public restrooms open year-round are located at the Warner Park Nature Center and the Equestrian Center.

Public restrooms open seasonally are located near Edwin Warner’s picnic shelters and at the athletic fields.

Portable restrooms are also located in various areas throughout both Percy and Edwin Warner Parks.

There are no restrooms on the trails or in the interior of the Parks. Remember to utilize facilities beforehand.

PARK RULES

Alcohol in the Parks

Per the Metro Parks and Recreation Department, which established the rules and regulations for all Metro Parks, alcohol is prohibited in Warner Parks.

Wildlife in the Park

Respect the wildlife. Never feed or approach a wild, stray or injured animal. If you see something unusual, notify the Warner Parks Nature Center staff.

Dogs in the Park

Dogs are welcome in Warner Parks as long as they are kept on a leash no longer than six feet in length.  Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County leash laws and regulations regarding removal of dog waste are strictly enforced throughout Warner Parks.  The Edwin Warner Dog Park is a leash-free zone where dogs may play freely within the fenced area.  View a complete list of rules and regulations here.

Running in the Parks

Running is allowed on roadways and hiking trails, but never on horse trails (a spooked horse may cause injury to the rider and/or runner). Runners may run in groups of no more than 3 individuals, and must yield to hikers and walkers.

Mountain Biking in the Parks

Mountain bikes are allowed only on Percy Warner’s professionally constructed mountain bike trails. Mountain biking is not allowed in hiking trails or horse trails.

SAFETY TIPS

  • Enjoy the Parks with a friend
  • Park smart. Never leave any valuables in your vehicle, even in the locked trunk.
  • Take keys with you.
  • Be aware of your surroundings.
  • Carry a cell phone with you.
  • Stay on designated trails at all times!
  • Keep dogs on a leash no longer than six feet in length at all times, unless in Edwin Warner Dog Park.
  • Only use park equipment and/or facilities for the intended purpose.
  • Children should be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Pay attention to weather conditions.
